Lionel Hitchen (EO) ltd aims to achieve and maintain high standards in Health & Safety management and performance.

The Directors have full regard for the occupational Health & Safety of its employees and others who have occasion to be on the company's premises and fully accepts the implication of the statutory duties imposed upon it. The Directors recognise their responsibilities in the area of Health & Safety and need to enlist the active support of all employees and visitors in achieving satisfactory standards. 

The Production Manager and the Engineering Manager have overall day to day responsibility for Health & Safety within the company.

Employees are reminded of their own duties to take reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others and to co-operate so far as is necessary to allow any statutory duty or requirement on the company to be performed or complied with. Employees are encouraged to help identify hazards which may exist and to report any conditions which may appear dangerous or unsatisfactory.

Outside Contractors and Visitors have an equal duty to comply with this policy.
