At long last there seems to be renewed interest in Grapefruit. There has been good movement of old and new crop inventories over the last few weeks. |
| LEMON | FIRM |
The crop in Argentina is expected to be 25-30% smaller than last year. Available fruit for processing is scarce and the fruit prices are high. |
| LIME DISTILLED | STEADY | The season is just about underway in Mexico. The crop is expected to be smaller due to cold and rainy weather. Though the fresh demand is quite strong, demand for oil has remained weak. |
| LIME EXPRESSED | STEADY | As the season begins we might expect a strong demand as Persian lime products are frequently used to supplement lemon products in difficult times. |
| ORANGE | FIRM | Following smaller crops in Florida and Mexico, Brazil is also expecting a reduced harvest. Demand for oil and D-limonene remains healthy. |
| TANGERINE | FIRM | Reduced crops in Florida and Mexico have tightened available supplies. |
